Lindt chooses Corbara for its new uniforms

In 2014 Lindt & Sprüngli decided to standardize its uniforms all around the world, creating a new jacket and apron for its Maîtres Chocolatiers and Promoters. The project isn’t easy: Lindt needs an exclusive garment, able to reflect the company’s style, but at the same time it must be functional, so that the Maîtres can concentrate undisturbed on their creations.

The excellence of the fine chocolate produced by Lindt & Sprüngli must be visible also from the aspect of Maîtres and Promoters and, as a consequence, their uniform must be elegant, distinguished and representative.

So the company, with the aid of an Austrian designer, realized the concept of the new uniforms and, after a careful selection among different suppliers, Corbara was chosen as production company. With the precise aim of having a first quality product, a design, improvement and refining procedure began and lasted several months.

In order to create a perfect garment, the first prototypes of uniforms were implemented by functional and technical suggestions that, making only a few aesthetical changes to the starting product, ensure wearability, resistance in stressing working conditions and a good resistance to the washing. Then, the research of the most precious accessories began, together with the planning of the most exclusive details.

The result of these efforts is a unique and distinguishing uniform: made of Comfort Satin, it’s embellished by wide double sewing and by tapered sleeves contrasting the elegant high wristband. The characterizing feature of this uniform are details, such as the clear gold rim adorning the whole profile of the jacket and apron and the gold buttons with a modern flat style.

The first uniforms have been delivered to twelve Countries in three different continents, from Canada to Hong Kong, obviously passing for Italy and for the Country of origin of the Maîtres Chocolatiers: Switzerland.

The final result cannot but be excellent: a pride for Corbara and a pleasure for the Maîtres. The exceptional care dedicated to these uniforms can be perceived at first sight and, just like you do with Lindt & Sprüngli’s masterpieces, you keep on tasting their quality even after the first taste.
