The style is recognizable from details. So, what accessories can enhance the elegant uniform of a Maitre d’hotel more than a bow tie, a tie or a pocket square?

That’s why A.M.I.R.A. (Associazione Maitres Italiani Ristoranti ed Alberghi – Italian Restaurant and Hotels Maître Association) decided to realize unique accessories, customized with its logo, for its members.

Realized in an elegant blue colour, with the classical Regimental pattern alternating stripes with plain-colour, the set of accessories includes the tie and pocket square for the formal uniform and the bow tie for the service uniform; a precious detail is represented by the gold logo of the association weaved directly in the tissue and placed in the final part of the tie.

What is AMIRA?

A.M.I.R.A. (Associazione Maitres Italiani Ristoranti ed Alberghi) was born in 1955 from an idea of Mr. Guido Ferniani, manager of the restaurant Savini in Milano, coordinated by his colleagues Francesco Cobelli and Mario Villata. Mr. Angelo Pozzi – coming from the restaurant Savini too – was the Association’s president for about twenty years.

The current president is Mr. Carlo Hassan, who took the place of Mr. Raffaello Speri – president since 2004 and now honorary president – during the recent congress of Palermo.

AMIRA, that can count on an organization of 50 sections in Italy and some further sections also abroad, is a non-profit association, aimed at enhancing the figure and professionalism of Maîtres d’hôtel.
